lady's annoyance.

sitting in the midst of the dirty gutter, foul smell reeking through lady's nose, making her sniff every few times. the smell was so foul that it could be called as garbage. but sadly, other dogs in shiro gang loved the foul smell. lady couldnt understand why, but she guessed that it was just because she was a beagle. she was about to fall asleep until she saw those most disgusting and disturbing things crawling about near the gutter around her. she couldnt stand them. rats.

"you useless rats!" lady growled politely yet fierce at the same time. she hated rats as well. she hated everything unclean. all of the other dogs in shiro was gone, hunting. they've probably gone hunting... she thought. flare was around the shiro territory or even, lurking around leber territory. she hoped no humans would get to flare, her fellow assistant to the boss.

she pounded her huge paw on the rat while it was squeaking helplessly on her paw. she was thinking like a cat. "cats!" she hissed. she hated cats as well, those skinny body with those weird looking eyes and ears that puff up when they wake up. "Im so glad Im a dog. not a cat." she thought to herself.

Flare growled to himself as he neard the gutter. He could already smell Lady's scent coming from the disgusting place. He should have been here earlier to do what she asked of him but he had been stupid and tried to steal some human food from a human walking down and alley. It hadn't worked out as he had planned. The large wolf-dog stopped his paws form further movement as he got to the gutter.

Flare dipped his head."Hello Lady," he greeted his boss formerly. The small, well put together she-dog looked out of place among all the disgusting trash. The rank smell filled his nose and his ears went back for a moment before flicking back up again. He hated the reek of the city. The clean open aired country side suited him better. His ice-blue eyes narowed on Lady as he waited for her wrath at being late.

nodding in approval, but in disapproval as well, lady opened her mouth to scourge flare, but decided not to because she had yelled at him infinite times and no matter how many times lady would say it, flare would always do the opposite. "you're the messenger of the evening. you have to go around new york and tell the dogs that we will have a meeting tomorrow at the broken subway. all dogs must be there." she made the all dogs must be there loud and clear.

she was going to hold a meeting in the broken subway underneath new york city. it was a hiding place for the dogs of shiro and no leber dogs or new yorkers know about it. it was something urgent that lady needed to tell the dogs. "you must hurry before all of the dogs hide in their caves, tomorrow at dawn, at the broken subway." she knew that flare might not get the message through all of the dogs, so she knew she had to tell all of the dogs after flare leaves.

Flare's ears flicked as he listened to her words. He could tell she was making sure he heard everything that she said. He always heard what others said, but it was his problem with not neccessarily doing anything about it."I will try to get all of them before they dissapear," he promised through his rough voice. He said the message over in his mind so that he owuldn't forget it.

Flare turned to leave and trotted away. His paws would hurt by the time the meeting began at dawn. He knew he would be lucky if he was able to get any sleep tonight. His ice-blue eyes flicked aorund as he thought of who to go to first. Xera was one of the more well known dogs in the city. If he got to her first she could help spread the message. But as he slipped around an alley, he picked up his pace to a run. It was better to get it done faster than slower.

Kayo stumbled into the gutter on his short legs. The smell of the sewer smelling yucky and familiar. He looked around, shuddering at the rats that scrabbled by, almost as large as him. He hated the feeling of the dirty sewer water on his coat.

"Lady!" he called in his small voice, "Ladyy?" He turned around, looking for her.

not neccesarily proud to see kayo, lady stared at him, infusing her stare into his eyes so that it penetrated him to look away. "what, pup? remember, this is the boss's home. not a little pup's. little pups should be somewhere else." lady included, firmly but gently as well, trying to be sure to not scare the little new grown pup.

"also, what do you want?" lady asked. she still had a doubt about flare, where could he be? she wanted all of the shiro dogs to meet at the broken subway, hopefully flare wouldnt search for all of the gang dogs! she had a block of item inside her mind, enabling her to think well. that little dog, he might tell the whole new york! she thought. without thinking or waiting for kayo's answer, she began to bark or command, "with other dogs, kayo, go and search for flare to tell him to not tell the whole new york city! just shiro! or our master plan would leak to the leber dogs!"

Kayo jumped up, this was what he wanted! "Okay Lady!" he woofed, bounding out of the sewer. He shook his fur just outside, dirty drops of water flinging away from him. Then he dashed away looking for flare. "Flaree! Flaaareeee!!" he called.

staring humorously at the little puppy that was dashing away as fast as the wind, she didnt think a little pup would find such a big dog like flare and actually convince him of telling shiro only. she sighed, but she thought again. he's only a puppy... she smiled as she heard kayo scream out of the top of his lungs, searching for flare. it wasnt easy to find dogs in new york city, you can mistaken flare for another strong dog that was a street lurker, without an owner.

Flare walked stealthily along the alleys of New York City, finding the quickest route to the apprentice Xera. His ears flicked back against his head as a human walked into the alley he was in. Flare let a low warning growl fill the alley and bounce off the filthy brick walls. The human just stared at him so Flare got closer to it and snarled again, showing his teeth. The human took a step back before turning and running away, shouting something in it's language that he did not understand.

"Stupid humans," Flare growled as he resumed his hunt. As he got closer to the building, he spotted the she-dog. Her lithe figure was sitting next to the side door that went out into the alley."Xera! Xera!!" he called to her.
Xera turned her head as she heard a familiar voice. She got to her paws."Flare! What is it??" she asked the Assisstant. He had never really paid any attention to her besides teaching her a few fighting moves.
Flare let out a releived breath as he stopped in front of the medium sized dog. His wolf blood made him the biggest dog in the gang, and he towered over her."Lady is planning a meeting at dawn tomorrow, at the broken subway," he informed her quickly. He sat down for a moment to rest.
Xera nodded her head."Okay," she said. She stayed queit as Flare rested for a bit until finally speaking."Do you need me to tell others??" she inquired softly.

walking on the streets of new york, manuvering through humans that were spatting at her greedily. if only she was bigger, she would be able to bite their behinds. nobody, not even humans, can treat bosses like that. then, after seeking around for what seemed like hours in a long journey in the dark city, she spotted a little sleeky figure sitting down what seemed to be near the broken subway's entrance.

"nobody takes shiro's secret hiding place." lady began to say as she started growling, the cat looked at her with a scared face and a sad expression, as if ready for her death. but instead, she started mewing in meow language which lady couldnt understand, barking super loud back at the cat, the cat whimpered and stalked through the streets, away from the entrance of the subway.

Flare's ice-blue eyes went to Xera's face. She had a calm composure over her but he could see that she was a little tense. He nodded slowly."Yes. Tell everyone that lives near her about it. Broken subway at dawn. I will get the rest that are farther away," he ordered her. Flare rose to his large paws and glanced around with a growl. Xera also lept to her paws. A small group of humans had come into the alley, and they were heading right for the two dogs.

Flare let out another warning growl but the humans kept stalking closer, poiting at the two dogs and saying things in their unkown language."Flare?" Xera said, her voice wavering slightly. Visions of her owner flashed through her mind and she crouched down a little."Just bark at them. Humans are stupid but they are smart enough to stay away from us," he said. He barked loudly at the humans and they faltered slightly. Flare jumped at the nearest one, landing on the ground right in front of it. The human screamed and then turned and ran. The others started to go away too but they threw things from the garbage piles around the alley at them. A few hard things hit Flare but he was unfased. He walked over back to Xera.

Xera slowly stood up fully. She felt embarassed that she had not done anything."A Fighter never backs down from a challenge. You still have much to learn," he growled at her. Xera just looked down at her paws, her ears flat against her head.
